The Keller Public Arts Program is now accepting applications for two events, Keller's Got Talent and The Keller Art Walk and Music Festival.

The 15th annual Keller's Got Talent will highlight the artistic talents of the many Keller and Keller ISD residents, age 16 and older. The much-anticipated annual show and competition offers local resident artists an opportunity to share their artistic abilities with each other and the surrounding communities. All genres of art are accepted. Awards are presented in individual categories of acrylic, oil painting to sculpture and mixed media, and more.  The show is open to the public from October 2nd through November 22nd, with the Awards Reception being held on Wednesday, October 18th, 7:00 p.m. To participate, a fee of $20 for 1 or 2 submitted pieces of art is required, and if desired up to 2 more pieces can be submitted at $10 each. All submissions are accepted provided they are family-friendly. Click here for an application .

The Keller Art Walk and Music Festival, comes to Old Town Keller on Saturday, October 28th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. next to the railroad tracks, along Lamar, Bates and Vine Streets. This growing arts festival in its 7th year, has something for everyone. A wide variety of art will be on display and for sale, with many artists demonstrating their craft for festival goers. Entertainment provided by The Texas Guitar Society with a variety of music and local dance companies will round out the visual arts experience. A Kid Zone for the kiddos will have Halloween activities for hands-on fun. If you are an artist and are interested in a booth, or a retail vendor, musician, dance or other live entertainment, or maybe you'd be interested in sponsoring the event, follow this link for more information .
