Theft
A student's bicycle was reported stolen at 9:24 a.m. from the Embrey Engineering Building.

Criminal Attempt
Police were notified by a staff member about a possible theft in progress of flat screen televisions at 4:12 p.m. at Caruth Hall.

Theft
A staff member's purse was reported stolen at 6:08 p.m. at the Blanton Student Services Building.

Theft
A student's bicycle was reported stolen at 10:20 p.m. at Clements Hall/East side bicycle rack.

Possession Drug Paraphernalia
A Highland Park police officer cited a student who had a pipe in his vehicle at 3:22 a.m. in the 5700 block of Hillcrest Avenue.

SEPTEMBER 5

Theft
A student's bicycle was reported stolen at 12:10 p.m. from Perkins Natatorium/Southeast Entrance, and the suspect was spotted leaving the area on the bicycle.

Three math books were reported stolen at 12:44 p.m. from the SMU Bookstore/Barnes & Noble.

Theft
A student's bicycle was reported stolen at 1 p.m. from the bicycle rack at Boaz Lot.

Theft
A student's cellphone was reported stolen at 2:16 p.m. from Einstein Bagel's outside tables/Cox School of Business.

SEPTEMBER 6

Fire Alarm/Possession of Marijuana/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
After officers and the University Park Fire Department responded to the Kappa Sigma house because a fire alarm was activated at 12:03 a.m., a student at the location was referred to the Conduct Officer for possessing "marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol in his room" and for having consumed alcohol while underage.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
Three students were caught at 1:03 p.m. at Morrison McGinnis Hall, having consumed alcohol while underage, and they were referred to the Conduct Officer.

Public Intoxication
An SMU student was arrested by Baylor University Police on Sept. 2 on Baylor's campus for public intoxication.
