Ifeanyi Anene, originally from Kano, Nigeria, is an artist currently living in Dallas, TX. He will give a lecture about his practice, which consists largely of paintings informed by his childhood in Western Nigeria. Ifeanyi Anene was an artist resident at OM Studios in Lagos, Nigeria in 2018, and was recently included in the exhibition “Materials: Hard + Soft” in Denton, TX.
