September is National Preparedness Month for SMU; as the University marks the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, officials of the school want to remind staff and students to be vigiliant on even their own campus.

Provost Paul Ludden and VP for Business and Finance Chris Casey, with the full support of President R. Gerald Turner, are promoting "A Time to Remember, A Time to Prepare," an effort that calls for remembering the importance of strengthening the security and safety of the SMU community.
