DECEMBER 31 

A 35-year-old resident reported that an unknown person created fraudulent checks using the victim’s identification information between Dec. 11 and Dec. 18.

JANUARY 2

A 63-year-old resident told police that his Ford Explorer was burglarized and a large speaker box worth $400 was stolen between 8 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 12:54 a.m. on Jan. 2 in the 2900 block of Westminster Avenue.

JANUARY 3

A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown person created a phone account using the victim’s identification information between Dec. 13 and Dec. 30.

JANUARY 4

A 28-year-old Dallas resident told police that a red Ford truck collided with her vehicle from behind and fled the scene without providing information at 4:58 p.m. on Jan. 4 in the 4100 block of Lovers Lane.

A 19-year-old resident reported that she and a family member were arguing over property and the suspect impeded the victim’s airway/breathing at 5:17 p.m. on Jan. 4 in the 4300 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard.

A 43-year-old resident told police that an unknown person(s) threw a cinderblock brick through two windows in front of his residence, causing $2,000 of damage, at 11:51 on Jan. 4 in the 3500 block of Milton Avenue. 

JANUARY 5

A 51-year-old resident reported that an unknown person took his Chevrolet Z28 without his consent between 9:30 a.m. and 2:28 p.m. on Jan. 5 in the 3100 block of Hanover Street.

JANUARY 6

A 37-year-old resident told police that an unknown person has been harassing him by threats on several occasions, and the last instance occurred between 5 p.m. on Jan. 5 and 10 p.m. on Jan. 6 in the 2900 block of Daniel Avenue.

A 59-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke into his Toyota Rav4 and stole miscellaneous items at 10:36 p.m. on Jan. 6 in the 3400 block of Amherst Street.
