From September 7 to September 9, F.I.G. in Downtown Dallas will play host to the Dallas Chocolate Festival. Stop by to attend demonstrations, classes, and of course, to taste plenty of delectable chocolate treats. The event aims to promote artisan chocolate in the DFW area by educating consumers on the skill and effort that goes into creating the sweet dessert.

The Schedule

Friday, September 7

This is the VIP Party. From 7 PM to 10 PM on the first day of the festival, people who purchase VIP event tickets are invited to the Fashion Industry Galleries in Dallas. There will be chocolates to sample, cocktails to drink, VIP goodie bags to snag and more than 60 exhibitors present to sample and sell. In short, it's a party chocolate lovers won't want to miss.

Saturday, September 8

The bulk of the festival will take place on Saturday. Head to F.I.G. for a variety of tasting opportunities, classes and more. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

Sunday, September

On the last day of the festival, at the Whole Foods Market in the Preston Forest Shopping Center, visitors are welcome to participate in several fun workshops. Learn how cocoa beans are transformed into classic desserts or test your skills at a chocolate tasting course. Tickets to the workshop are not included in your basic entry fee, so research in advance to see if you're interested in participating.
