The Rotary Club of Park Cities and the City of University Park present the University Park Tree Lighting in Snider Plaza on Sunday, Nov. 20th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This annual event benefits the North Texas Food Bank and Salvation Army. The main stage will feature live performances from the Texas Ballet Theatre, HP Dance Company, Preston Center Dance, Contemporary Ballet Dallas, Lads & Lassies, and the SMU Pom Squad. There will be children's entertainment with bounce houses, a pet adoption booth, and pictures with Santa Clause.
Local vendors will be offering a variety of treats and snacks. A beer garden sponsored by Andrews Distributing will serve beer and wine (with proof of age) with a suggested donation to the North Texas Food Bank.
Additional parking will be available at the Hilltop Plaza parking garage at the south end of Snider Plaza, free of charge.
