Join the SMU Mustang Band for the 77th Pigskin Revue

SMU is celebrating its centennial homecoming this Saturday, November 5 and there are a bounty of exciting activities and events to commemorate the event. In addition to SMU taking on Tulane at Ford Stadium, the SMU Mustang Band will be hosting the oldest Homecoming Tradition - the Pigskin Revue - at the newly renovated Mack Ballroom in Umphrey Lee Center.

Pigskin Revue will on Friday, November 4 and will feature music, dance and comedy acts accompanied with live music from the Mustang Band. The SMU faculty, staff and students typically get in on the action as well with their own performances and acts. This year, aside from the band, there will be performances by the Southern Gentlemen, Mustang Mavericks, J-Spear, Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir and Trigg Music.

In the past, there have been numerous celebrity sightings at Pigskin Revue, including Bob Hope and Jerry Jeff Walker. It's an exciting event that attracts SMU students and the Dallas-area residents. Guests can pay $10 for a show ticket but there's also a dinner for any interested attendees. Tickets for dinner and the show will run $40.

The revue begins with a reception at 6:00 p.m. on the Umphrey Lee second floor patio, followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. and the show itself at 8:00 p.m. in the Mack Ballroom.
