Students at Dallas’ Chapel Hill Preparatory School received important financial lessons from PlainsCapital Bank employees during a recent JA for a Day event with Junior Achievement of Dallas.
Volunteers from the company taught third through fifth graders the basics of earning, saving, and spending wisely through fun, hands-on lessons designed to build early financial skills and lay the foundation for smart money decisions later in life.
The event is part of PlainsCapital Bank’s ongoing partnership with Junior Achievement of Dallas, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching students about financial literacy and entrepreneurship. PlainsCapital also funds a statewide financial literacy curriculum for Texas middle schools, ensuring teachers have free access to lessons that prepare students for lifelong financial success.
