The SMU football team is set to begin fall practice in preparation for their first game of the season, which is less than a month away. The players will arrive on campus on Friday, August 5 and practice begins the next day, Saturday, August 6.

The team will have 29 practices over the next four weeks before taking on the Texas A&M Aggies on September 4. The game will be televised on Fox Sports.
