Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University welcomes prospective degree and non-degree students for Inside Perkins gatherings. A Midday Inside Perkins is scheduled for 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Wednesday, July 11, 2012; while an Evening Inside Perkins will be held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2012.

Inside Perkins offers the opportunity to meet faculty and students, and attend a class, while learning about graduate theological degrees and non-degree options as well as scholarship and financial aid packages. A light meal will be served at each Inside Perkins event.

Inside Perkins is the best way to get to know us,” says Tracy Anne Allred, director of Student Services at Perkins School of Theology. “Inside Perkins gives prospective students the opportunity to experience and engage with our community and discover the many resources available here for theological education and preparation for ministry.”

Fall 2012 classes open to new incoming students include Interpretation of the New Testament IInterpretation of the Old Testament I, The Christian Heritage IIntroduction to TheologyThe Church in Its Social ContextGreek I, and Hebrew I. Perkins School of Theology offers merit scholarships and need-based grants.
