Searching for the best spot to celebrate July 4th with family and friends? There are tons of events with music, food, and fireworks all across North Texas that are a sure-fire bet to delight your group, no matter how old they are.

Park Cities: Show of your Independence Day spirit at the Park Cities July 4th Parade and Festival sponsored by the Rotary Club of the Park Cities. The parade starts at 9 a.m. on Euclid Avenue near Highland Park Town Hall, and ends at Goar Park next to the University Park City Hall with the annual festival. 

Coppell: The city of Coppell is trying to outdo itself again this year with the Spirit of Coppell July 4th Parade and Fireworks on Tuesday, July 3. Round up the kids and bring a picnic basket for the fireworks and music, which includes a performance by The Motion, starting at 7 p.m.

Southlake: July 3rd In Southlake, Fourth of July fun starts on July 3rd with an evening of family fun, great food, patriotic music, and — of course — firework! Head to the Stars & Stripes event at 6 p.m. in Southlake Town Square.

Keller: The Fourth of July Spectacular at The Keller Pointe will run from 2 to 4 p.m. July 4 at The Keller Pointe Outdoor Pool. The afternoon will be filled with fun games, competitions, music, and lots of prizes for the little ones. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and your favorite beach towel! This celebration is free for members, but non-members will pay the regular daily fee for admittance. 

Grapevine: The annual July 4 fireworks show over Lake Grapevine is a not-to-be-missed extravaganza! The show, which is in its 30th year, starts at 9:30 p.m., and is a perfect opportunity to board a boat and get the best view in the house! 

Plano: Now in its 32nd year, the Plano Independence Day Parade is better than ever! Enjoy amazing floats and community spirit on the Fourth of July starting at 9 a.m. along Independence Parkway.

McKinney: As the name suggests, McKinney's Red White & Boom event will have a massive fireworks display. The Hometown Parade will start at 10 a.m., and other events include sidewalk sales and a car show.

Frisco: Frisco Freedom Fest will be held on Wednesday, July 4 and will start at 4 p.m.  The patriotic party happens at FC Dallas Stadium and Simpson Plaza, located in front of City Hall in the heart of Frisco Square.

Lake Highlands: The Annual Fourth of July Parade and Carnival is a huge event coordinated by the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands. The Parade begins at 9 a.m. July 4 on Church Road just east of Lake Highlands High School.

Lakewood: The Lakewood neighborhood always hosts a robust Independence Day parade complete with a tricycle parade. This year the theme is "Hollywood Comes to Lakewood," and the parade starts at Lakewood Boulevard and Cambria at 10 a.m.

Dallas: Fair Park Fourth is sponsored this year by MetroPCS, which will be bringing an amazing fireworks display for all of the city to see!

Addison: Addison's annual Kaboom Town fireworks display tends to get pretty crowded. Find a patio in the area and enjoy the display without all of the traffic!
