Uchenna Nwabuike, a junior linebacker on Southern Methodist University’s football team, and two of his teammates, who are also his roommates, reportedly told the police that $3,000 worth of electronics was stolen from their residence — by an escort.

Surprisingly, Nwabuike allegedly said that he agreed to give the escort $50 for sex, but “he did not pay the suspect for the acts that she performed” at the football players’ off-campus home on Anita Street.

The three believe the escort later stole the electronics, which included laptops, televisions and video games.

The theft reportedly occurred three months ago on the evening of the football team’s end-of-year banquet.

The football players could possibly face disciplinary actions, pending the outcome of the investigation.
