A dramatic tenor, Meadows alumnus Clifton Forbis, M.M. ’90, is internationally known as a performer of some of the most demanding tenor repertoire in opera and is a leading artist with the world’s major companies including the Metropolitan Opera, Canadian Opera Company and National Symphony. He currently serves as Professor and Chair of Voice at SMU Meadows School of the Arts. Meadows alumnus Donnie Ray Albert, M.M. ‘75 is a regular guest of opera companies and symphony orchestras around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera and Opera Pacific. He is currently the Senior Lecturer of Voice at the Butler School of Music, University of Texas at Austin.
