SMU Mustangs offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Adrian Klemm has had a great deal of success recruiting top players from California to come play in Texas. The jewel of SMU's 2011 recruiting class is Davon Moreland - a four-star defensive end that hails from Los Angeles. But, Klemm is hoping to make an even bigger splash with the 2012 recruiting class.

Klemm has already landed a four-star recruit for the 2012 class in wide receiver Gabriel Marks and he's hoping to persuade another four-star WR, Darreus Rogers, to come to SMU as well. Marks and Rogers are projected as the top two receivers to come out of California in 2012.

While Marks has already committed to SMU, Rogers is currently committed to USC. However, Klemm has been flying to California quite a bit this summer in an attempt to convince Rogers and other California players to join SMU. He made an offer to Rogers late last week and the wide receivers admits to being intrigued by the opportunity.

Rogers, in an interview with Rivals.com, said, "It seems like a cool school. I do like it since they pass a lot. It would be a good look for me in the offense so I am going to look deeper into SMU."

Rivals currently has Marks ranked as the 25th-ranked wide receiver for the 2012 class while Rogers is 26th.
