Mark Lemmon's greatest contributions to Texas architecture was his designs for educational and religious institutions. His most important clients were the Dallas Independent School District, SMU, Port Arthur School District, and the University of Texas at Austin. In styles that vary from Romaneques to Moderne.
His master works here in Dallas includes Highland Park United Methodist Church, Cotton Bowl, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, the Museum of Natural History, and Art Deco Great Hall and Hall of Heroes in the State of Texas Building - all at Dallas's Fair Park.
