We invite you to attend our first event of the academic year where we will have the Department of English’s inaugural Hughes Fellows in Creative Writing, Afsheen Farhadi & Samyak Shertok, do a reading. Afsheen Farhadi is the Fellow in Prose and Samyak Shertok is the Fellow in Poetry. The event will be on Thursday, October 20th . There will be a reception at 5:30 pm and they will begin their readings at 6:00 pm. You will also be able to attend via Zoom. Please see the Zoom information below. We hope to see you there!
