DESCRIPTION:The Fall Dance Concert opens with a premiere by Carter Alexande
 r\, Artist-in-Residence in the Division of Dance. Alexander will choreogra
 ph a new ballet to Shostakovich’s  String Quartet No. 8 . Guest artist Cry
 stal Frazier\, on faculty at Point Park University\, will create a new hip
 -hop piece. The program closes with Paul Taylor’s seminal work  Esplanade\
 ,  with music by Johann Sebastian Bach\, restaged by Paul Taylor Dance Com
 pany/Meadows Dance alum Parisa Khobdeh. Alexander’s new work and Taylor’s
   Esplanade  will be performed live by musicians from Meadows’ Division of
