 ion will start at 7:00 pm . The event will take place in the McCord Audito

    \n Bio: World -renowned writer\, editor\, and social commentator\, Roxa
 ne Gay \, is the author of the New York Times best-selling\, “Bad Feminist
 \,” the short story collection “Aiyti\,” the novel\, “An Untamed State\,”
  the award-winning memoir\, “Hunger\,” the best-selling “Difficult Women\,
 ” and “World of Wakanda” for Marvel\, among many other works. She is a con
 tributing opinion writer to The New York Times\, the founder of Tiny Hardc
 ore Press\, as well as a professor\, and editor. In 2019\, Gay co-created
  a  black feminist  podcast titled  Hear To Slay \, which featured influen
 tial black women as guests. In 2022\, the podcast was relaunched as  The R
 oxane Gay Agenda . \nMs. Gay’s many awards include the PEN Center Freedom
  to Write Award\; the Guggenheim\; and the National Book Critics Circle Aw
 ard. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Technical Communication and a master’
