School has started for SMU and the sports teams are on the verge of starting their regular seasons. The volleyball team travels up to Oklahoma University for the Nike Invitational on Friday, but they still have one last scrimmage before their first game against Oklahoma.

The Red-Blue scrimmage on Tuesday, August 23 will pit the team against itself, as head coach Lisa Seifert will divide her team in two for the match. This is the first chance SMU fans will have to check out the Mustangs and their new additions. This team will have big shoes to fill; last year's team set a school record with 25 wins and finished second in Conference USA with a 17-3 record.

The first 200 SMU students to come to scrimmage are invited to a pizza party and a meet-and-greet with the volleyball team. The scrimmage will begin at 6:00 p.m.
