SEPTEMBER 4

Theft
A 53-year-old resident reported that two rocking chairs were stolen from his residence between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the 4000 block of Marquette Street.

Theft
A 49-year-old resident reported that his bicycle was stolen between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the 3200 block of Rosedale Avenue.

SEPTEMBER 6

Vehicle Burglary
A 41-year-old resident reported at 4:41 p.m. that someone stole $870 worth of property, including a purse, wallet, and social security card, from her 2007 Saab in the 4100 block of Greenbrier Drive.

Theft
A 58-year-old resident reported that a vintage chair valued at $750 was taken between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. from an alley behind a business in the 6900 block of Preston Road.

SEPTEMBER 7

Theft
A 43-year-old resident reported that the buyers temporary tag was stolen off the back of her 2012 Honda Odyssey between 8 p.m. Sept. 6 and 8 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 4400 block of McFarlin Boulevard.

Theft
A 39-year-old resident reported that a bicycle was stolen between noon and 2 p.m. off the front porch of a residence in the 4200 block of San Carlos Drive.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 42-year-old resident reported that the side mirror of her 2001 GMC Yukon XL was damaged after being struck by another vehicle at 4:10 p.m. in the 4100 block of Hanover Street.

SEPTEMBER 8

Theft
A person was found to be in possession of a City of University Park street sign without permission at about 5 a.m. in the 3000 block of SMU Boulevard.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 50-year-old resident reported that her 2011 Mercury Mountaineer was struck between 5 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Sept. 6 while parked in the 6700 block of Westchester Drive at Highland Park High School.

Theft
A 41-year-old resident reported that an unknown person stole a license plate from her 2012 GMC Yukon between Sept. 1 and Sept. 8 in the 4000 block of Hanover Street.

SEPTEMBER 9

Theft
An 18-year-old resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from an alley between 5 p.m. Sept. 8 and 5 a.m. Sept. 9 in the 4100 block of Lovers Lane.
