Finals and paper due dates are right around the corner for SMU students and everyone should take some time out of their day on Saturday and make their way to Dallas Hall for the annual Celebration of Lights ceremony. President R. Gerald Turner will read the Christmas story, live performers will sing our favorite Christmas carols and 100,000 lights will be turned on and illuminate the main quad.

Hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. Celebration of Lights will begin at 7:00 p.m. and should end an hour later at 8:00 p.m. Interested participants can sponsor a child and provide him/her a wonderful Christmas experience.
