Craig James, the former SMU running back that paired up Eric Dickerson to form the 'Pony Express' back in the 1980's, has now launched a new political movement named Texans for a Better America. James has also been noted wanting to run for a position in the Texas Senate.

According to the website: "Texas for a Better America is about reconnecting people with the values, ideas and founding principles that have not only mad Texas the envy of our nation but would transform our country.

"Texas is a shining example to America what happens when government gets out of the way and lets people pursue their dreams."
